After the German reunion in 1991 and the breakdown of the business with the east Europe customers were some engineers of the former Dessauer company Abus looking for new fields of activity. On a business trip they established the contact to an industrial furnace manufacturing company from North Rhine-Westphalia in Gevelsberg. After a short time in October 1991 a same named subsidiary was founded in Dessau. In the years that followed, industrial furnaces, heat treatment plants and their equipment were developed and manufactured at different places in the region(at first in Dessau, later in Oranienbaum) for various business sectors with constantly increasing requirements.
After the close of the subsidiary Oranienbaum of the industrial furnaces manufacturer in summer 2004 took the in December 2003 founded TAD Thermische Anlagen Dessau GmbH the workshop location and some employees of the former manufacturing department.
In the same year a cooperation were entered into with two likewise new founded engineering offices for thermal process technology.

We began in 2009 our intensive research work due to numerous incoming inquiries on processes for the heat treatment of foam glass products, particular on processes and fixtures for the manufacturing of plates and mouldings of foam glass.
From this work we have gained a lot of new knowledge, which ultimately resulted in one utility model and two patents.
In the following years the company increased with the volume of orders up to the maximum of their capacity.
In summer 2015 we moved into a larger factory hall with an office area inside the well-known location in the “Dessora-industrial area”.
In 2019 Mr. Markus Kaltofen was promoted to the Managing Director to continue the successful company story.
In 2023 we expand our services with sheet metal manufacturing in our second location in “Dessora-industrial area”.
